7-UP: In 1967 Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola were America's favorite carbonated thirst quenchers,
and though the folks at 7-Up were resigned to third place in the soft drink race, they hoped to
snatch at least a few market shares from both of the cola biggies. But how? Enter the team from
J. Walter Thompson who created the now-classic campaign that not only embraced 7-Up's clearly
"Un-cola"-like taste and appearance, but the anti-establishment zeitgeist of the times as well.
